Dakar Rally News: Red Bull Unveils Stunning Livery for British GP
In a thrilling move ahead of the British Grand Prix, the championship-leading Red Bull team has unveiled a stunning new livery for their RB20 race car. Inspired by the iconic camouflage design from their 2015 preseason testing, the livery features additional flashes of red paint across the car, creating a bold and eye-catching appearance.
“In our 20th season in the sport, it is a timely tribute to years gone by and I can’t wait to see the RED Bull charge out at Silverstone this weekend,” said team boss Christian Horner in a statement.
The new design was created by a fan from Thailand, Chalaj Suvanish, after Red Bull opened up a competition for fans to submit their own livery ideas.
F1 rules typically limit the extent to which a car’s color scheme can be changed for a one-off occasion, but Red Bull has managed to incorporate a fresh and dynamic look that is sure to capture the attention of motorsport enthusiasts. Alongside the Red Bull’s striking new design, Williams has also added a touch of home to their FW46 car, featuring a prominent Union Jack on the back around the airbox.
