    Bortolotti Dominates at Sachsenring Return

Sachsenring – In an electrifying display of driving prowess, Mirko Bortolotti, the Italian sensation behind the wheel of the Lamborghini for SSR Performance, emerged victorious at the DTM race held at the legendary Sachsenring circuit.

The race began with a thunderous roar, but a collision on the very first lap brought an abrupt halt to the proceedings. As the drivers and their teams waited anxiously for the green flag to wave once more, the tension in the air was palpable.

When the race resumed, Bortolotti wasted no time in asserting his dominance. Navigating his Lamborghini with precision and skill, he steadily built up a commanding lead, crossing the finish line 1.541 seconds ahead of his nearest rival, Luca Stolz in the Mercedes-AMG GT3.

The race was not without its challenges, as another collision on the opening lap forced a lengthy interruption. Yet, Bortolotti remained unfazed, executing a flawless pit stop and refusing to relinquish his position at the front of the pack.

Behind the victorious Bortolotti, Franck Perera, Bortolotti’s teammate at Lamborghini, seized the final podium spot after a five-second penalty demoted Ricardo Feller in the Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo2.

“The return of the DTM series to the Sachsenring, after a 21-year absence, was a resounding success, with a staggering 42,000 spectators filling the grandstands to witness the thrilling action.”

Despite the challenges faced during the race, the drivers and their teams showcased their skill and determination, delivering a truly memorable motorsport spectacle.

Bortolotti’s triumph at the Sachsenring not only solidified his position atop the DTM standings but also cemented his reputation as one of the most formidable talents in the GT racing world. As the series moves on to its next round, all eyes will be on the Italian sensation and his quest to defend his lead in the championship.
