The IndyCar Series is ushering in a new era of hybrid power at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, as the first-of-its-kind hybrid system pairs the existing 2.2-liter twin-turbocharged V6 with supercapacitor technology to deliver over 800 horsepower. With six different winners so far this season, the race for the championship is as competitive as ever, setting the stage for an electrifying showdown at the iconic circuit.

Tristan Vautier, the 34-year-old Frenchman, is set to make a comeback to the NTT IndyCar Series this weekend as he takes the wheel of the Honda-powered No. 51 entry for Dale Coyne Racing (DCR) at the Detroit Grand Prix. The upcoming outing will mark Vautier’s return to IndyCar racing since 2017, when he was called upon by DCR to substitute for the injured Sebastien Bourdais at Texas Motor Speedway.
