British GT News: Leclerc Dominates at Monaco Grand Prix

Monaco, [Publication Date] – In the latest edition of the British GT Power Rankings, Charles Leclerc put on a commanding display throughout the Monaco Grand Prix weekend, emerging victorious on the streets of his home race. But who else impressed in the Principality?

Our five-judge panel assessed each driver after the thrilling Monaco event and scored them out of 10 based on their performance across the weekend, taking the machinery out of the equation.

Hamilton initially caught the eye by going fastest of all during first practice in Monaco, briefly sparking excitement about him potentially challenging for a fourth win at the famous circuit. However, as the weekend unfolded, the Ferrari and McLaren drivers proved too quick, and George Russell also got the better of his teammate in the intra-team battle.

“While Leclerc celebrated a well-deserved victory on home soil, Nico Hulkenberg was an innocent victim in the first-lap chaos after Haas teammate Kevin Magnussen came to blows with Sergio Perez, whose Red Bull ultimately collected the German. Hulkenberg and Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo, who had a solid but unspectacular weekend, just missed the cut in the latest Power Rankings.”

The experts’ scores have been averaged out to produce a race score, with those tallies now being compiled across the season on our overall Power Rankings Leaderboard (at the bottom of the page). Stay tuned for more thrilling British GT news and analysis.
